24 Oct EAMONN AND JENNIFER LYNCH – ANNUAL DONATION
The Elche Children’s Home was very pleased to welcome back Eamonn and Jennifer Lynch from Ireland. They, their family and friends save money throughout the year for the children, and this is the third year that Eamonn and Jennifer have made a generous donation to the ECCH.
They are pictured here with Pablo, a care worker at the home, who was able to tell them about how the home works very hard to help the children through a difficult period in their lives in order to prepare them for adulthood and for when they eventually have to leave the home and take care of themselves.
The ECCH often uses donations to pay for vocational course fees, equipment and materials for the teenagers in order to help them find work once they are 18.
Pablo also explained that they have recently had to restructure the home to accommodate more teenagers as the numbers have increased recently by 25% so the charity is working very hard to meet the needs of these extra children.
We would like to say a very special thank you to Eamonn, Jennifer, their family and friends for their continued support. Their donations have been, and continue to be, vital to contributing towards the happiness and well-being of these very vulnerable children.
