CHARITY NIGHT – EL PARAISO, GUARDAMAR
Marlene Brown and Joan Rampton’s recent charity event raised 869 euros for children at the Elche Home. This money will be going towards the summer activities planned for the children.
Owners, Nico Castany and Virginia Diez, laid on a lovely meal and excellent service, and Johnny & The Roadhogs kept the dance floor full all night.
The photograph below shows Nico and Virginia alongside Annette English (ECCH) receiving the donation cheque from Marlene and Joan.
LA MARINA LADIES KEEP THE KIDS SAFE IN THE SUN

The smallest things can make the biggest difference – the La Marina Ladies circle make regular donations to the ECCH of much needed items throughout the year. We’d like to thank the ladies very much for recently donating the money to buy sun protection cream and aftersun to keep the children safe whilst enjoying all the activities we have planned for them this summer. Sun protection is not cheap and we need to buy enough to last 22 children for 3 months, so we are very grateful for these essential items.

CHARITY SPONSORSHIP

Many of you will have enjoyed attending some of the ECCH charity events organised by Susan Reader. Whilst chatting to her recently about the success of the recent summer ball, she commented on how it would not all be possible without the support of the local businesses who sponsor her events. One of her regular sponsors is Mark Vincent from Vincent Real Estate in Benijofar – he has once again agreed to sponsor and attend the Winter Wonderland IV Ball on 1st December and also sponsor a Cava on arrival for each guest at The Ray Scott Art Competition – details to follow – for which we are extremely grateful.

If you are interested in finding out more about sponsoring an event or part of an event – from as little as 12 euros – please contact Susan on sueinthesun@hotmail.co.uk.
